A successful watercolour painting requires a number of different techniques and on this workshop we will concentrate on these skills. We will be exploring colour mixing, different pigment/water ratios, laying washes, wet into wet, dry brush etc etc. These skills will be practiced and then used to complete paintings. We will further develop our skills with such techniques as observing and painting negative shapes, looseness, and the minimal use of the brush. Again we will use a number of these skills for completing further paintings.
This course is ideal for beginners as an introduction to watercolour painting techniques as well as more experienced artists who perhaps realise the need to regularly brush up their skills.

Acquire Confidence to Paint with Impact

Confidence is normally all that is needed to create an ’impact’ painting. On this workshop Tony will give you the correct attitude of approach. Let’s get some strength of colour into your paintings to make them stand out from the rest. Come along and enjoy the feeling of freedom by painting with boldness. You will be producing truly colourful watercolours on this workshop once you have mastered attitude and confidence.
